LUNAFEST
Traveling festival of 7 short films by women about women. Live program includes recognition of 3-4 local Carson City women for their support of other women. Also included with ticket price is dessert and 2 drink tickets. Silent Auction will also be held.
Hosted by the Soroptimist International of Carson City, a 65year old organization supporting the empowerment of girls and women through education.
Procedes of the event will fund programs to benefit local women, including Breast Cancer support, Educational Grants, Scholarships and others.
