Brought together by Sierra Arts Foundation, “Blood Blooms” is on display at The Depot Gallery & Bookstore now through April 28, 2024, with an artist reception scheduled on April 20th from 1 pm to 4pm. Sogand is an immigrant Iranian visual artist whose work explores intersections between culture, gender, and politics, offering a glimpse into the complex tapestry of identity. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in Iran, Sogand’s art weaves personal experiences into a broader human experience, creating thought-provoking visual narratives.
