America’s Field Trip Scholastic Contest

America’s 250th Anniversary is fast approaching, and we’re inviting all Americans to join in on the celebration. We are excited to kick off the second installment of America’s Field Trip, a nationwide scholastic contest designed to actively engage America’s elementary, middle, and high school students in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Semiquincentennial. Students are asked to submit writing or original artwork in response to the contest’s prompt: “What does America mean to you?” 

You may answer this question with original artwork or a written response.

Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 5 p.m. ET.
